    Cobra intake swap question....

Ford uses the engine coolant to help cool the egr spacer and gases before they enter the engine. Thats why the the lines are hook to it. I feel like the Ford engineers are alittle smarter than me and designed the egr system like they did for a reason so thats why I wouldn't plug them off.

    Traction control light always on

Thanks Just so everone will know, I talked to the previous owner of the car last night and he said that he did buy a tuner and he set the car up with the traction control off. He also told me that the car has had 3.73's installed in it also. I knew it ran to strong just to be a stock auto...

    Traction control light always on

When i push the button, nothing happens; no lights on the dash. I haven't try to spin the tires on purpose, but it has chirped second gear and the light on the dash did NOT come on.

    Traction control light always on

I hope it has not been modified. The car looks to be very clean and totally stock with the exception of flowmasters. Never wrecked or painted according to the carfax and I've looked it all over and found zero signs of overspray, misalighnments, mismatched colors, or paint on molding. None of...

    Traction control light always on

I guess I'm lucky because the used car dealer I got the car from had the title to the car with the last owners names and addresses on it. That info is usually long gone or n/a when a dealer gets involved. Hopfully they will change in back for free or for a decent price. If not, I feel if the...

    2001 GT vert speakers

I just bought a 01 GT vert without the premiun sound option. What is involved with changing mine to the better speakers, like adding the ones up high on the doors by the mirrors. I know from messing with the 87-93 cars, that the wiring harnesses differed from car to car depending on the sound...

    93 Cobra Intake

Thanks for the replys. I don't mind having to chase some threads and replace some bolts, but I don't want to go through all the work of installing it to find it causing the engine to burn oil. What can be done to prevent this? Does ford sell a different baffle? Whould anyone recommend a...

    93 Cobra Intake

Has anyone seen the differances between the older FMS cobra intakes and the new ones FRPP sells? The guys selling the older FMS models on ebay talk serious trash about the quality of the newer ones and was wondering if they are really as bad as they make them out to be. Thanks

    89 5.0 backfire?

Thanks for the info so far. I'll check for any codes, but I'm sceptical. I did have to replace my IAC a while back, I tried cleaning my old one, but it didn't help. I'll also check my timing, but the way it starts and its response have me sceptical on that aswell. Runs good. Thanks

    89 5.0 backfire?

Anybody ever have a problem with their car backfiring? I have a stock (K&N panel, off road h pipe and flows) 89 lx with 184,000 miles. Never had to do anything to it major; change the oil every 3000 miles, have the alt. rebuilt, new water pump, fuel pump, and minor tune up parts and brakes...
