    Which bolts to pull the calipers for pad change?

    i know this seems dumb but i went to change my pads and don't know which bolts to pull. I pulled out the two obvious ones i would normally pull doing a brake job but the calipers won't move. Do i have to take off the two big bolts holding the entire caliper assembly on or just the outer part...

    Did your battery die on you every few days from the system draw as well while in storage? Drove me nuts.

    Thank you but i would think that immersing the entire filter underwater would be a bad idea. This would allow dirt and debris to flow freely through the water and accumulate on the clean side of the filter, no?

    Yes, i ran it for like 2 minutes, then like 5, then i drove it to work yesterday (40MI). This morning it is only showing like 1/16" over full so i figure that is OK. Thanks a lot you guys, all of you are always so helpful.

    Thanks a lot. Weird thing is i let her drain till not a drop came out, put some in the filter, and the balance of 6 quarts in the pan. Yet it still reads higher than full. Should i drain some? I don't get it. Thanks

    I know this sounds stupid but how many quarts should my 06 4.6 take on a change? I put 5 in her and she read low so i put in a 6th but now it seems overfull. Do i need to bleed any? Thanks!:lol:

    Thanks, if it has debris in it do you just use a soft brush or something to get it all out? I am feeling like buying a new filter each time is a lot easier.

    The instructions say the filter should be pink after you are done cleaning it, mine is not. Has anyone here done this and was theirs actually pink or just a dingy pink when done?:shrug: Thank you.
