The 97 has a mechanical speedo drive, your 2000 needs an electronic speed sensor. You' need to swap tailshaft housing and all the speedo stuff to make it work right. I look for a 99+ model transmission or fix the 2000:nice:

It's OK, I probably was a bit to sensitive. Tim is a respected member and fellow nitrous addict. He also gives tons of useful knowledge and actually backs it up with experience. He's helped me on occasion and I hope he continues.:nice:

I've always been JayC:D Same car I've had since 2002. It gets faster with age. My N2O and N/A best were set last November with over 112K on the stock shortblock. I'm also your age. Your post sure sounds dis-respectful to me. Why question Tim when you don't know the basic facts about our cars...

You've just shown how little you know about our cars. Mine runs 120 in the 1/4 in 26" tires in 4th gear and 4.10's. Now think a minute....how can that be done?:shrug:

I ran 12.89 with 247rwhp. It's gotta hook to do it though. With the swap and N2O it sounds like you have a good plan:nice:

These and a few other goodies really help the T-45's.
