i ordered my 40 series from an ebay store performancepeddler. I think they were 2.25 offset/offset but not really sure you can search google and find that out easily. I paid around $40 each and had the local muffler shop weld them on. The sound is 100 times better than stock.

I checked fuse #33 and it remained @ 12V on both sides. I also checked the wires on the switch and the red with green strip went to 12V only when I pressed the pedal and the green with red strip stayed @ 12V all the time.

ok the third brake light is not working, I hooked a voltage meter to the third brake light and got .01 volts with no change when i press the pedal, I did the same on the brake switch and got 11.97 volts but when i pressed the pedal in the voltage drops to zero. I will try the bulbs in the third...

Well I removed the multifunction switch found the stoplamp wire made sure the connection was good and it was but still no brake lights or cruise control. I also test the stoplamp wire for power and there was. I am totally stumped HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I did'nt know the brake wires went through the multifunction switch. I bet thats my problem cause sometimes my wipers come on by themselves. I'll check it out thanks for the help..

where is the multifuntion switch? is it the turn signal unit on the steering column?

Yes I have the correct bulbs. I did nothing i can think of that would cause them not to work. Yesterday someone said hey your brake lights are not coming on and here i am.

yes the back up lights work. everything seems to be working except brake lights and cruise control. i.m stumped

Here is a picture of the stoplight switch i replaced twice. There is also a white plastic part that connects to my brake pedal that moves in when i push the brake. can any one tell me what it is I cant find it in part catalogs.

Both blinkers work, emergency flashers, and tail lights. I also noticed that my cruise control is not working which made me think I still have a bad switch so i got another switch still no brake lights.

HELP!! I have a 2000 Mustang GT and none of my brake lights are working. The bulbs look good and I replaced the fuse, and the stoplight switch with no change. Anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem? thanks
