88 Mustang LX Upper Door moldings

I need help. My car came without these metal moldings and ford says they don't have parts after 10 years. How do they attach? I see a bunch of holes on the top of the door. I've got a pair of these moldings but no clips. Does anyone have pictures of these apart and how they are supposed to...

    Toulene...ever use it?

I used it with my 1969 Z28 with about 11:1 CR and it worked fine. I used a concentrate and poured it directly into the tank each time I got gas. It was only an ounce or two per 20 gallons. Never pinged and the bearings looked great after 20,000 miles driving it all over, going to school, and...

    Questions from a new member

Guess I'll opt for a mustang rear then. Was the Saleen body modified to fit these rear width, wide tire combinations? Can you translate frpp and sn95 and ackerman?

    Questions from a new member

I'll do it slow. I got it for a cheap price so I can afford to move forward. I'd definatly convert to 5 lugs. What rim size and tire combination did the Saleen use? Is there a web site with this info?

    Questions from a new member

Maybe. I'll change to motor last and do the looks first. I saw the most rad Saleen about 5 years ago when I was going to school. It was an 88/89 , black, mysterious and the best looking one I'd ever seen. Thanks for the welcome.

    Questions from a new member

I live in Boise Idaho and just bought a 1988 LX hatchback with 2.3L and 5 speed. I'd like to make a Saleen look alike. Did they have 5 lug rims in 1988? The car is straight and rust free and a good platform to start with. :SNSign:
