I need help. My car came without these metal moldings and ford says they don't have parts after 10 years. How do they attach? I see a bunch of holes on the top of the door. I've got a pair of these moldings but no clips. Does anyone have pictures of these apart and how they are supposed to go back together?

Not sure which moldings you are talking about. Can you post a pic of what you have and then we will try to help you.

    door belt moldings

You are missing door belt moldings. They use small plastic "buttons" that are rivited to the door. The moldings are slid onto them from the rear of the door toward the front. Then a small screw hold them on at the rear of door on the inside when you open door. I got mine from www.50resto.com. They came with the screw and the round plastic buttons. I don't remember my 93 having square holes, but my buttons were on, so this may be a good question to ask next. What year was yours?

the moldings on a 93 are different from an 88. 50resto will hook you up with all that you need. well worth the 70 bucks IMHO. nothing makes a car look shabby like faded/missing trim pieces

I guess I need the plastic buttons you spoke of, any place I can get them? I don't need the moldings.
