That is sooo cool. I miss and like the 70's style paint jobs and custom work. Now days everything is just 20-30 TV's huge stereos even bigger wheels blah blah blah. Corvette Summer kicks A$$!!!!:D
Thats a sweet 70 Coupe! My brother was going to buy a 70 Coupe. We were going to leave to get it and found the GTO. He's always wanted a 72 Goat.
That sucks someone would steal that off your 66 man!
The GTO is my lil bro's. He's owned since he was 15. He's now 27 and just now getting the money to start restoring it. That and he got his own house with garage, giving me my space to work on my B2! :D It's an original 1972 400/400TH I can't remember the color but has black interior.
Complete engine. Just takin apart. Had a guy tell me the date code was for 1970. 4V engine. Selling it cause its incorrect for my car. Thanks for looking guys!

Thanks man! Yeah, I was really excited when the guy said he'd sale it. I've already got most of it stripped. I'm taking it to a real well-known body shop here to get the frame straightened. Its rust free and no reason to buy new ones. I'm also going to replace the front floor panels. I will post...
Here's some pics of my 69 Boss 302. This is how I found her. :(
And at home after getting it. And somewhat cleaned up.
OUCH!!!!!
I bought her off the second owner. He had bought it in the early 70's out of a junkyard. The original engine and trans had already been stripped...
Oh no man. My avatar isn't mine. LOL I'll post pics of mine here soon in the Classic Talk forum. She's not very pretty right now. But I paid $2,500.00 for her. I am however the third owner.
Thanks for the name change!:D
A buddy of mine girl had a Turbo S model. With a Chip, exhaust and intake (i'm sure there was something else he didn't tell people) he'd run Porsches and surprised a ton of people. He also has a 1.8T Jetta with Porsche brakes and some kinda turbo setup that smokes most V8's here. And they're not...
We recently had a diesel show here in town. There was a 74-76 Camaro Z28 with a Cummins diesel in it.
91notchbackLX, I don't know why you're getting all pissing. I assumed by your rants you were 16yrs old. I didn't start this thread to start arguements or anything like that. I asked a...
Actually man I have a Hot Rod mag that had a guy put a 5.0 into a 67 Camaro. Twin turbo'd. While the car performed awesome and was really fast, I can't give any props to that kinda swap. :notnice:
Guess I'm just a purist. While I do give respect to those that get nice power outta any engine no matter make or size. I just can't give any to these kinda swaps.
Thanks again for your guys time and input. Extremely surprising really. :)
Please and thank you in advance for dropping the "ricer" comments.
Back to adult land, just because a car is fast doesn't mean it should gain any respect. Hot-rodding is one thing. But dropping in another makes power into a Stang is just dumb. Really. If you want a SBC. Buy a Camaro. Its like...
Sorry guys haven't been able to get on here in awhile. Shortly after posting that thread, I was laid off and had other things on my mind then posting on here about that 5.0 Notch with the LS1 in it.
For the record, I don't, and would never put anything other then a Ford engine in a Mustang...
I'm not sure if the guy is on here, but on a local forum some guy has a LS whatever swapped into his fox coupe. :notnice: What are your guys thought on this?
