    Watch their how to on YouTube. I believe you will want to leave the burlap over the springs, or replace it if it is rotten, it keeps the springs from cutting into the foam. I am almost to the same point on my car.

    I used a two part epoxy on both sides of some fiberglass cloth, then used the factory studs/nuts, and some everglass to smooth them in. I did the same with the rear valance to the quarters. I don't have a real good close up of that area, but this is a good side shot.

    Thanks. I called Speed Direct, that was pointless. All he could say was that the original mustang pumps were marginal at idle speeds. I made a couple other calls and found a restoration shop who adamently said to run the late model mustang pump.

    Are they repro doors? I ended up welding the edge of the doors to match the fenders and quarters to bring the gap down to 3/16" on mine. I figured it was the reproduction doors that were the problem.

    I 2nd the cam concerns, that cam on a 302 will have no low range, and heads won't flow enough to get the top end out of the cam...I also didn't realize you could do 2.02/1.6 valves in an e7 head, thought 1.9 was about the limit.

    It looks by the invoice he did it right. I would be a little nervous about all that in the 289 block, they are a little thinner than the 5.0 blocks.
