    Mustangs Unlimited.com

one of the reasons there are so many parts available for some of the other stuff is because the same headers fit every small block chevy chevelle, malibu, elcamino, monte carlo from about 1965 to 1988. Not to mention the other General stuff from the same platforms, and the easily adaptable...

    leaf spring change

I wish I had known that... I tossed out all the bent rusty brackets and fashioned my own perches and u-bolt plates. Ended up with a decent setup but it looks pretty armature for the amount of work that went into them.

    Rotten rubber and broken springs

I have another question that may be popular (it may have already been talked about, but I couldn't find it). It occurred to me as I was hacking the broken springs off the back of my car last fall, and now I need the garage space so I guess it's time to put the car back together. What are you...

    Stock car wheels.

Parthos... I think you could still use your rims with the valvestem hole drilled out. I have seen valvestems that require a bigger mounting hole than the standard little car ones. I think they were to be used in medium truck rims or something. Anyway, ask around, there is more than one size...

Headers known to Fit and Hit

This is great info guys thanks. It's funny how MII owners are so frugal, and yet we chose a fairly hard to fin,d expensive in the long run car to love! Sounds like hookers are worth the extra $. Has anybody got any thing from another application to work worth a damn? It's always interesting...

Headers known to Fit and Hit

It seems there is alot of talk about what headers fit what combos and what had to be done to make it all work, and everyone has the same question but the answers are scattered. I was just wondering what who is using where, and I think alot of other folks are wondering too. Is it true that Fox...

    Stock car wheels.

I had a friend who ran Legends cars that use these wheels and a spec 205/60r13 BFG compT/A HR4 tires. At the time I had a Vega and bolted one of his used sets of them on. It actually looked better than you'd think but the mushy suspension on the Vega killed any performance there was to be had...

    1978 Mustang II T-top model???

Yes Ertl has re released a couple of MII model kits. One of them is the 'firefighter' pro-stock kit and the other is a bone stock kit. Both are kind of crude, but they are generaly shaped like a II. I don't think they are T-Top, but it would be easy to hack a t in the roof with a razor...

    Fiberglass body parts on sale

Not that the Handler itself is a secret, but you would think Maier would list it's body kit on their website or in a catalog or something. Just seems odd.

    Air Shocks...

Actually I was looking at a mini-spool... I could put up with tough corners, It will probably only see a few street miles (just to scare the neighbors). I have heard that minis are not really the best way to go, but then again I was also looking at air shocks! There have also been rumors that...

    Fiberglass body parts on sale

Do you know what all is in the Monroe Handler kit? I know it comes with a front valance/spoiler and a bigger spoiler for the deck/hatch, but what other parts are there? I asked the manufacturer but they said that although the kit is still available, they have no photos available, and gave me a...

    OT: New Project ('91 Ranger)

I would tend to agree with the idea of a blown 4.0. Even though there is no replacement for displacement, supercharging is neato. Don't worry too much about hood clearance, its still cool to have a little motor sticking out isn't ? Particularly blowers, tunnel rams, and velocity stacks?

    Air Shocks...

Money is the name of the game Yep that's exactly what I thought. Slicks and rims to put them on are going to run 150+ apiece, SSM isn't making traction bars anymore, and I have heard someone else is making them but I'm sure they aren't cheap, and we all know lockers and such are pretty costly...

Oooh oooh, a new person to hate!

Why do people do such strange things? I am not sure why Blue Thunder's posts were deleted by the author of said article, but I would imagine it's because he said something to the tune of: Hey if you are going to publish something on the World Wide Web do at least a minimal amount of home work...

    Air Shocks...

Before everyone gets riled up about air shocks again, please read my whole post and think about it for a minute.... Suppose I was having a mild case of one legged wheel spin and a little bit of a crooked launch that's eating up my 60ft time. I have heard of folks using an air bag on the...
