In some states it might even be illegal to have a car that makes smoke like this. You car may not even pass emission as it is depending on where you live. The stop and go argument such complete BS. Cars today are designed to handle stop and go traffic as well as highway.

Yeah, a pristine stock airbox and intake tube in a dusty engine bay would be suspect I guess :D

Steeda claims that a retune is needed if you run the FRPP pro-cal tune. Not sure why, this shouldn't make a difference.

I had the GTAs since a few months and to me they are just a bit too quiet. I just ordered a set of Stingers (Borla brand) to solve that problem :D I'll let you know how they compare.

I have the same issue with that package. I was working on placing a custom order for one with my dealer (MSRP) when the final pricing was announced. I thought it was overpriced, and I dropped the order and went with a premium gt instead.

OK, so I took my first 60 miles trip since I installed the SLP loudmouths. It was a painful trip for me. I was just glad to step out of the car when the trip was over. Simply too loud and too much drone for me. I placed an order for FRPP GTAs later in the day. That's just my opinion of course.

I just installed SLPs loudmouths. They are definitely loud :eek: From the inside they are pretty loud and drone at about 2k rpm. But it's not unbearable and you can still hear the radio and have a conversation with passengers. I'm just learning to stay away from the 2k rpm zone when coasting...
