bbk long tube headers.
the cam right now is a motorsports z cam with harland sharp 1.7s for the vic jr heads.
with those rockers it specs 228/228 and .584/.584
the other cam im lookin at with those rockers would be...
depending on the year of the boat motor, its the same block as the 1st gen lightning. It has a few casting differences than a standard 351.
secondly, the 351c block is not as strong as a windsor block. thinner cylinder walls on the cleveland
about to move back to the orlando area. I spent 5 yrs in oviedo, just north east of the orlando. Ill be goint to UTI starting in October and would love to meet some of the local mustang guys.
just a quick note on this post, the m family isnt considered a big block, they use big block parts but are a seperate family I belive F85 or something 85
they make a swap kit. Mounts, oil pan, headers its around 700 bucks I believe.
The heads on the clev. is what id look at. If its a 2v or 4v head. If its a 4v headed motor you better be ready to spin 9000 rpms to make power.
swap pan and pick up 150 bucks from most suppliers, and use 87-90 or so convertable mounts it drops the motor about .5 inches or so. You might want to get an 86 and up trans cross member as they have two humps for dual exhaust and the pre 86's just have one hump
I would just shell out the money for aluminum heads, esp with patriot performance. You can get a set of heads for under 1k fully assembled, just drop them on and go
