What The Hell Happened To This Forum?

LOL! Sounds like me a couple years ago. I had a drain on my battery and couldn't find it so I rewired the entire car. Once it was done I had the same problem. The issue turned out to be a relay in my fuel injection harness. Replaced the relay and all was good. At least I feel better now...

Boss 302 Blower. What would you do?

It seems like it would be easier to buy a set of quality SBF heads and then put on the blower. It looses some of the cool factor but you would get the blower you without reinventing the wheel. Another option is I have seen a place that sells adapters for different engine heads combos so that...

    Ground Clearance

I was using Headman long tube headers with RonMorris lowering mounts. I sold those headers to go with JBA shorty's due to gound clearance. It was ok most of the time but speed bumps in parking lots got me. I think I only scraped them a few time but for as little as I drive mey car that was a...

Fabricating a stainless efi tank for my 1965 mustang

Alright I will ask. How much for one of these beautiful tanks. I am using the same fuel pump and would love to have it concealed in the tank. Very clean look. PM if you prefer. Thanks. Darreld

OT- MIG Welder Do you have one? I need advice

I got a tank of 75% Argon 25% CO2, new tips, wire and shield today. It was good before but there is a huge difference once the gas is hooked up. Much smoother feel, no splatter and cleaner. Great little welder for the money!

Will do. I hope to get the gas tomorrow if I have enough time. I have done some work on sheet metal and 1/8" square tubing.

OT- MIG Welder Do you have one? I need advice

I got my century welder yesterday and hooked everything up. I don't have a gas cylinder yet so I am using it with the shielded wire for now. It worked great for me. It will take a little practice to get used to the machine but the welds after 5 beads were looking pretty good. At least for me...

    Value on a 65 200 and 3 speed

I sold my 200 and 3 speed that ran but lacked power for $50. It didn't smoke or use oil. I likely under charged but I mostly wanted it out of the garage so I could have some space. Even at that price I think the guy wanted an engine that was good for another 100,000 miles. I would be...

OT- MIG Welder Do you have one? I need advice

I just ordered one as well. Cross my fingers it is at least as good as the Clarke welder I have been renting when I need a welder.

67 coupe rear spoiler; not GT/CS style

At one point I wanted to put on a 1969 Trans Am rear spoiler. I think the body lines are pretty similiar to a mustang and TA and would look great. I am sure there would have to be some modifications done to the spoiler but should not be to bad if you are decent with fiberglass.

Any one know about water/methane injection

I am running it on my blown motor right now. Works well and simple. The pump turns on when the boost kicks in so it is not always running. I would question the size of the tank you would need to have and the amount you would need to use on a N/A vehicle where it runs all the time.

    ProComp Head problems?

Different types of heads have different length runners. Twisted Wedge head is shorter than AFR, Edelbrock, etc.. which are shorter than High Ports and Canfields. So a 190cc Twisted Wedge will have roughly the same flow as an AFR 205. AFR head flow rates are done on a larger bore block...
