    you really don't need anything till you bump up on the injectors, but I know if you ever go to looking at fuel pumps, alot of ppl are using the focus pump. I know it sounds crazy but they are bigger and cheaper than a lot of other options.

    yep use a timing light and reset everything but if you were off just a hair it would crank. If you get it lined up and running but have no power when driving you'll be 180 out just to forwarn, seen it a bunch.

    I dunno about a 98 but on my 04 it doesn't keep under pressure when the car is off. Being a 98 though it wouldn't hurt to change the filter and check the pump, there might be a small leak in the line somewhere as well.

    Cold Air Kits

    I always liked C&L , they're not cheap but they are good. They have thicker walls than the polished ones. The thinner they are the more heat they pick up and hold onto. Other than that I would go K&N they have a plastic tube and do not transfer as much heat.
