    Mach 1 ? a bought getting new springs

    Never used them but Eibach and KYB make nice springs...i had KYBs on my 95 GT...lowered 1 inch in the front and 1/2 inch in the back...installed with the stock struts and shocks...sweet springs!.....i feel the mach's dont need em...they are already 1/2 lower than GTs and the car handles pretty...

    I had an H pipe on my 5.0 ... I have an X on my Mach1....i think the X sounds deeper and more throaty...same flowmaster catbacks too..the H pipe on the FoxBody sounded more like a chopper and it was kind of sloppy..the X pipe is definately raspier...but the tone itself is very deep

    87 or 93 octane?

    For a Mach1...does anyone know if the motor is tuned for 87 or 93 octane? I use 93 premium, however if it's tuned for 87, it'll run better with regular 87 and im doing more bad than good....The manual says 87 but the manual doesnt specify model...its also for v6, gt, ect....does anyone know for...

    Hey, 2004 Mach 1...I use 93 premium octane. However, in the manual it says 87...but the manual doesnt specify for Machs! The manual is for v6, GT, mach, cobra, ect...I would imagine it should be 93 octane...but if the motor is tuned for 87....it will perform better with 87 regular octane....does...

    Lol yeah all my stangs did it .. its not when i get off the clutch its when im in gear say first or 2nd n very low rpm like 1 rpm..u hear the clank wen u step on the gas then u start going normally lol

    Im probably going to keep it mostly stock...nothing irreversable...a few more bolt ons and some radials maybe to put it in the 12s...a short throw shifter probably steeda tri-ax .... louvers and i have the mach honeycomb panel grill between the tail lights...thats about it...i gotta take some pics

    In my 04 Mach 1 with only 10,000 miles I hear (and feel) the tranny clunk when I hit the gas at very low RPMs for example if im in 2nd only at 10 mph or less and i hit the gas i hear it clank n clunk for a second and then it starts picking up normally....i think this is just normal of mustangs...

    I had an 89 5.0 fox...now that was another story that thing used to get stuck at 2,500 RPMS sometimes and never come down unless i turned the car off... lol i hope she doesnt start that crap....!

    Thanks man, yeah I'm loving it a lot lol. When I was at the dealership getting the car I was on the phone with CJ Pony parts already making an appointment to have a BBK O/R X-pipe and flowmaster american thunder catbacks installed. I got that done today which is why I was ripping it so badly...
