    1967 coupe, bogging down problem

As zookeeper and Hack have said, this sounds like the two times (1993 & several years ago) my coil has failed.

Late 1967 - Little Box on back of Ignition Case Switch, What is it? (Have Pictures)

Yep, that's what it is. I can get one at the local NAPA for I think a few bucks less than $10, so I'm betting you can too. Point being that you are right there's no need to get one until you dig into the AC.

instructions or checklist for full window install

I found these helpful in prepping to reinstall my windows, but I'm stalled out on the project because I hurt my wrist scrubbing ancient grease out of the tracks. https://68vert.blogspot.com/2012/05/kicking-glass.html?m=0...

Spending Way To Much For Crappy Materials

You're in California, right? I was talking to the dad of the guy who is painting my car here in central Pennsylvania, and he was telling me how happy he was that they didn't have to use the water born stuff. Hard for me to imagine that paint, clear, or sealer that peels off isn't some sort of...

So ,you Say You Are Having Trouble Dropping That Motor In ?

I bet the absence of the radiator and the giant hole in the floor helped a fair bit.

    Wood Grain Wheel (1967)

I've seen mentions that there are two different manufacturers of the reproduction deluxe woodgrain wheels, but I don't know whether this is (a) true and (b) true for the 67 wheels. I'm hoping someone here might know about this one way or the other and, if so, might know who the manufacturers...

    67 Fastback Console Help

Since nobody has responded, I'm going to take a stab at this, but be forewarned I don't own a fastback. I've certainly been able to put my aftermarket (MustangstoFear) console into my convertible with the top up -- though it's obviously easier to do with the top down. I helped a buddy install an...

    Factory Power Steering

Probably. You should check with Chockostang. He's an expert who refurbishes/sells power steering and disc brakes for classic mustangs. He'll tell you what your options are and is very helpful.

Interior and Upholstery 68 Quarter Window Issue

Another issue can be a bent arm on the regulator. I replaced mine after years of trying to solve this problem, and it solved it. I think there may be some photos either in one of my posts or one I found on here. Have to run for an appointment or I'd search for and link them.

    What's A Good Interior For My '66 Red 2+2?

I have the black interior in my green 67 convertible and like it a lot. However, it gets very hot in the summer sun. Also, the original black carpet fades to brown pretty quickly if it spends much time under the sun.

    Can Anyone Help?

First, you have my sympathies since I've been chasing better gauge readings for a couple of years now. This sounds a lot like what I've encountered, and I've only had incremental results from better ground and new instrument voltage reg. And by the way smart idea to just invert and ground the...

    Can Anyone Help?

What precisely is the problem when you put fuel in the tank? I'm assuming it shows no fuel or not enough fuel. If it is showing empty when you put fuel in, it could be the ground for the tank. It could also be that the angle of the float arm is off so that it is not registering enough change...

    Power Steering Noise

I had a swishing noise that turned out to be a bad pressure hose, but the only way that I found that out was after the hose began to leak and was replaced.

Location Of Spare Tire Hold Down Bracket On 67

I'll have to wait until the weekend for pics, but there are at a minimum two problems. First, there is a gash on the inside lip of the gutter that looks a lot like the handiwork of my first body guy's air chisel (also responsible for my now-repaired leaking cowl). Second, there is some seepage...

Location Of Spare Tire Hold Down Bracket On 67

Finally, got the proper bracket mounted in the proper place and the right hardware. It's so nice to have the tire secure and much less rattling from the trunk. Now if I can just figure out how to patch the damage to the drain gutter for the convertible top, I can finish the trunk out and use it...

    Header Question

I believe there was some testing on the HiPo manifolds vs. Tri-Y finding no appreciable difference. It was discussed in a thread here a couple of years ago.

    Faint Whine In Power Steering

The pressure hose cracked on my power steering and I lost a bunch of fluid quickly. The good news is that I first heard the telltale groan of a pump low on fluid while pulling out of the garage, so I was able to pull back and and shut down without running the pump very long. I replaced the line...
