    331 Stroker Motor Starter

I think you guys just hit the nail on the head .. I am running 14 degree's at the moment. I Just got my Quarterhorse last summer and only flashed it with Decipha's base T4M2 tune. I can almost bet it is that because all ground braids have been replaced last year also and I don't have any...

    331 Stroker Motor Starter

I think yours is doing better due to the heat shield. I am using the same starter you are and it is actually fairly new also. Stock battery location and I have all new ground braids also. I am going to try to heat shield it a bit and see if it helps.

    331 Stroker Motor Starter

I am currently running 10:1 compression on a 331 stroker motor and the stock starter just does not seem to cut the cake. Sometimes it will turn over a revolution and then sort of stall for a second then continue to turn over and start the engine. When the motor's cold it seems to turn over...

    Exhaust Idle Problems

Could you explain your "idle" problems is it surging, is it dying after starting, what exactly is the problem? Also did you do the "IDLE" reset procedure as you changed parts that require this. http://www.muscularmustangs.com/idlereset.php Ignore that it is the "stock" throttle body in the...

    Smog & Ac Delete

I live in Chicago where the weather lets say doesn't get all that warm often lol .. I run a 825K6 which is an 82.5" 6 RIB belt with the AC removed and the smog pump removed. You will have to cap/weld shut the H/X Pipe's EGR tube stuff but that's trivial and not a huge deal. If anyone wants to...

Innovate Mtx-l Wideband And Moates Quarterhorse

yup I am running an off road x-pipe with all smog stuff yanked also. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/INN-3844/ that's the wideband and I am using as it was recommended on the moates site so I think I use one of the analog outputs off that right?

Innovate Mtx-l Wideband And Moates Quarterhorse

Any suggestions on best location (driver-side, passenger-side) to have the bung welded into the exhaust (Doc's say about 24" away from the collector so say 6" after the O2 sensors that are on it now). I will have the gauge mounted in a single pillar pod on and I just bought the Moates...

Smog And Ac Delete Serpentine Belts

I need an 82.7" belt per the delete tutorials found on the net but I can only seem to find 82.5 or 82.2 I would think the 82.5 would work but curious if anyone else that has their AC and SMOG pump removed can suggest a belt. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dac-5060825/overview/ FYI - am...

Shorty / Long Tube Header Question

I recently had these old Mac Equal Length Shorty Headers on my motor and developed an exhaust leak so I pulled the one off to find that the 2 of the tubes are totally warped and wont re-bolt up unless I bend them back into position. They do not have the cross flange metal brace between the...

    Cam Swap Question

In a SN95 is it even possible to do a Cam swap w/out pulling the motor out? I am unsure if I pull the radiator, fan+shroud out of the way if I can even get the cam out without having to take anything else apart for clearance. Also how's the drivability on them Comp Cam - cam's? I currently...

    Still Running Hot

So does this "hole" come pre-drilled in? I just literally a couple weeks ago put a Stant - SuperStat Thermostat 180 Degree one in mine and dont recall any hole being their should I have drilled it out and positioned it so its at the top side of the water neck? I am pretty sure I have all the air...
