    gt40p heads

I run blue oval from ebay. They were less than $150 and fit much better than the ford headers. The welds are real nice as apposed to the ford headers. My 11 year old daughter tig weld nicer than whoever welds the ford pieces.

'91 GT Starts then dies after starting on a warm engine....

If you have the stock balancer it could be a bit of a chore, as the origional timing marks will be hard to find. you will need to bring the engine up to tdc on the #1 piston and mark the balacer on the timing tab. Get a dial back timing light and set itany where from 10-14, Ford calls for 10...

'91 GT Starts then dies after starting on a warm engine....

Have you checked your ignition timing? I just had this problem with a 92 coupe I just bought. The base ignition timing was at 22 degrees and it was doing exactly what you describe. I set base ignition timingat 14 degrees and it restarts and idles fine.

    5.0 conversion, going mad!

It is possible your balancer has slipped. Dont rely on your timing mark if it is a stock (old) balancer

    Cam choices???

yes you will most likley need to have the pistons fly cut. Duration and LSA have more to do with ptv clearance. I have a 302 with TFS heads and TFS stage 1 cam had to cut the pistons because of the larger valves.

    car sits uneven?? WTF?

Remember, most of these cars are 20+ years old now. Powerfull V-8 engines and who knows how many lead footed drivers= twisted chasis. I have a friend who is a chassis builder and he wont even touch an origional v-8 fox because most of them are twisted 3/4" plus.
