    egr issue possibly?

i had a buddy call me with a 94 mustang needed his rockers adjusted had a few that were loose and rattling. cars got aftermarket heads decent size cam, think its a bbk intake. the intakes a little taller then stock, so the previous owner who put that on cut the EGR tube and put a piece of...

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

I'm running a 325/50/15 out back. Little too tall for my set up. When I do get traction it bogs down. I have my 2 step set up anywhere between 3500 to 4000 and I slip the clutch out. I almost bought a set of 26 inch slicks but I am only 20. Don't want to be making payments on a car I broke...

last time i ran it was 12.9 at 106. it should be mid 12s if not faster just can't get any traction. chirping 4th still. 15 psi in the nittos and doing john force burn outs aren't helping them :haha: they are also a little too tall for my application, i should either swap the tires for a 26"...

    Looking for detailer in NJ

go on Autopia.org Car Detailing Forum :: #1 in Auto Detailing Discussion! i believe they have a section for if your looking for a detailer. they have mobile detailers where they'll come to you, or you can bring your car to them. the best part is you can talk to a few guys, then look at their...

    ? BMR Red ?

what you can do is take the swaybar to a paint shop. see if they have one of those cameras that will tell you the closest paint match. we painted a snap on side box like that. was red, guy wanted it yellow to match his box. used the colornet camera and got it 100%. looked great.

    Track time issues

how are you leaving off the line? are you trying to launch it a little? are you just waiting until the lights go and nailing the gas? launching is the biggest thing to get your ets down. do you have any problems with wheel hop? throw some lower control arms in it. do you still have your front...

    professional detailing, worth it IMO

you get what you pay for when it comes to detailing we have "detailers" at my work. and they make the cars look pretty good for when they go out, but see the same car in a few weeks time, the scratches and swirls are back. they are using products like glazes to fill the scratches, not actually...

    Does 2010 V8 hood fit v6 ?

not something i'd really brag about doing. haha if i remember correctly, the gt/v6 hood will interchange, the gt500 will not. i could be wrong though. so if he got a hood for a gt it should fit fine. i think.

    D@mn-it!

i know what you mean. i see a few peoples set ups, and i'm like yeah i gotta get me some 18s, or i gotta lower my car. etc. but right now, my set up i have going, theres no question around here if its me or not. everyone sees my car knows exactly who i am. and i wouldn't trade that for...

What does this mean for the 2011 w/Brembos?

gtrs also the car that they have a 20,000$ trans, that they only recommend launching it like 12 times before you replace it. i would have to replace my trans everynight. hahah. its gunna be pricier then run of the mill brakes, but i'm sure they hold up to abuse alot better then regular brakes...

    Pypes long tube headers installed

well nah at first when you said it i thought you removed the bolt from the bottom. meaning breaking the welds and removing the nut on the bottom. ive heard of a few people not realizing its welded to the k member.

for those thinking of going to long tubes

yeah, first times always a learning curve. even when you've done the job before on different applications, doing it on a new platform is just like hm. wtf, dont think i ever had to do that before. haha forgot how easy these cars are to work on. just went to look at something i need to fix on my...

    question on blown S197s

i'd say its all in the tune honestly. and i'm sure quite a few people will vouch for me. if you have a really conservative tune, then you should be good, granted theres still your limitations, but with a safe tune, people are running more and more reliable higher power set ups. now where you...

for those thinking of going to long tubes

no major power adders. dunno an actual number, but i feel an increase in power on my butt-dyno. as for the install viper, i'd unbolt both motor mounts, unbolt starter, unbolt steering shaft, jack up motor. should be easy as hell to get old ones out after that. then put bottom bolts on both...

oh damn didn't realize they were actual welds. did you have to do any grinding or just the half inch spacer? i'd like to try and find a set of centerline telstars to try and fit on my car, i think they would look awesome.

for those thinking of going to long tubes

it def got louder, but at the same time, in parts where it was loud before, its quieter. before on the highway doing like 65 or so it would drone horribly. now the drone is down lower, at an rpm i'm basically never at. hahah. i'd say my cars comparable to a car running long tubes, with no...
