    I have MAC lt's on my car and now the throw-out bearing has decided to start singing. Is there enough clearance with this brand lt's to slide the tranny back and due clutch work? ----Thx

    Mach radio in my Explorer

    My radio in my 98 Explorer recently died and i installed the Mach radio (CD-6) from my 02 GT in it's place. It went in very easy but i'm left with a small problem. I only have mid's and highs. Is there anything i can do to get a low frequency to my speakers? Any info is appreciated.

    Replacing cylinder head

    I have an '02 GT and i need to replace my passenger side cylinder head due to a plug blowing out. Do i have to pull the motor for this, or can it be done in with it left in?

    Car misfiring again?

    watch the COPS while the engine is idling. If any are vibrating bad, a plug may have blown out or you may have a ripped boot.

    speed concepts?

    anyone order from speed concepts? i ordered a set of mac ceramic lt's on feb 8th and have yet to receive anything. the only reply i have ever gotten from them is that there is a manufacturer delay. some problem with mac i guess? i've never had anyone answer the phone when i call or return...

    locking header bolts

    i was wondering, if instead of paying the 40 bucks for the stage 8 locking header bolt kit, has anyone had any luck with just using regular lock-washers?

    Pinion Preload Questions

    you MUST use a dial type torque wrench, because that is a torque-to-turn figure. i would personally replace all bearings at once but if you must do it this way i would shoot for 18 in/lbs. using a clicker-type you would definitely over torque it. i hope your at least using a new crush sleeve.

    thx for the input guys. i went ahead and did it. i bought the ceramic mac lt's, mid-pipe, and o2 extensions for just under $600. i feel like it was a good deal and i was just drivin myself crazy tryin to get all the info i could to make an educated purchase. thank god this post didnt turn...

    i am getting ready to buy some long tube headers and i was set on getting the ceramic bbk's but then i went to speedconcepts.net and they have mac ceramic lt's for 379! thats the best deal ive seen on those and my question is about the quality and fitment of thes lt's? for this price i can buy...

    making your own mid pipe

    well thanks guys, i was just hoping to find out what type of tool is required to flare that end of the mid. i know i cant drive to the muffler shop with open headers so ill have to mock it up here, cut where i think it should be, then take it to the shop to be flared. thx for the input guys

    i was just wondering if anyone has modified and existing mid pipe for shorty headers, to fit a set of long tubes. it seems as though it would be pretty easy and inexpensive but i cant find any tooling that would allow me to make the socket (flared) end to accept the ball end from the header...

    Just installed VT Stage1's today, no tune, HELP!

    im about to do the same, gearhead, and im real curious if you get any "seat of the pants" feel out of those cams. keep us informed please! i know i should go with stage 2's but im just too lazy to do the valvespring upgrade (and broke). anybody know how many ponies the stage 1's are worth?

    01 GT fog lights wont turn on

    get under it with the fog light switch on, using a volt meter , check to see if you read voltage to the foglights. if you have voltage your bulbs are bad, if not then its the switch
