i am getting ready to buy some long tube headers and i was set on getting the ceramic bbk's but then i went to speedconcepts.net and they have mac ceramic lt's for 379! thats the best deal ive seen on those and my question is about the quality and fitment of thes lt's? for this price i can buy the headers and mid-pipe for only about 20 bucks more than the bbk lt's alone.

thx forum. i was hoping more ppl might chime in on this one. did you use the gaskets that came with the mac lt's, or did you go another route?

mine work fine, and yea the MAC's dont come with gaskets, you can either reuse your stock ones or buy some stock replacements.

MAC is the best bang for the buck, nothing is better in their price range. I have some from a few years ago. They are a good fit. I am going to get the coating redone on them, they were not coated back in the day.

dont know who you heard from..

My performance shop guy said my ceramic MAC LT's fit the best out of any LT he's ever seen.. and besides that, they are great. I used percys seal-4-good gaskets and the bolts that came with it and they are never coming loose. I also went and bought some ceramic coating and did the ugliest looking coating ever but it works good... i did that even tho the mac coating wasnt coming off yet, just a precaution, and that was after 8 months.
