Rolled mine out of Dad's garage for the first time since 1990. I didn't know what would happen when the sun hit it so I figured I'd take a couple of pics before it burst into flames or something.

Speaking of build sheets.......a guy from Ford Research called me today. They are getting a build sheet together for my '78. Said it would be 4-6 weeks.

Checked out my Buck Tag tonight. Tag was up top and also had the "CB". Guess it's the real deal.

There's another thread that actually tells what the code for Cobra II is on the tag. I'll look around for it again.

I actually saw the answer to your question in another thread last night but I looked at so many threads I can't remember which one it was. I know it said that it was identified on the tag that's near the radiator and a letter C is involved.

Does anyone around here speak Ford VIN? I'd like a breakdown of what my CII came from the factory with. My VIN is 8F03F100616. I think it was originally white with the green stripe kit. What I'm really curious to know is if it was a V8 car. It also has a 4-speed.

Is there a company out there that makes fiberglass parts (i.e. bumpers/hoods) for II's? Back in the early 90's I worked at a speed shop and I recall being able to get a few items from Harwood, but I'm having a hard time locating anything now. Any suggestions?
