When looking at t5 in my 67 v8 mustang, the transmission end yoke is about 3/4" lower than 8" yoke,and engine also points downward. t5 output shaft is not in the car's center but 3/4" off to the side. This causes strange drivetrain angles. And I suspects this causes vibration that I am getting...

I have seen a few of those little starters for 5.0 on ebay. what do you think of their quality, are they worth $50? Considering brand name starters e.g. powermax or ford racing priced at $250-300 what do these cheap starters have lack of or what compromises in quality anybody knows?

It turned out to be the sheet-metal pistons became slightly oval in the upper part (closer to the pad).

These are PBR calipers (not cobra) I took the pistons off (inner seal too) and was quite surprised to find out they sit really tight in the bore in the operating range! I have new rotors and brake pads whose total width is some 52.5 mm (2 1/16"). Is this the correct width? The piston is possible...

these reinforced arms are IMO totally useless on a street car spend your money wisely on meaningful mods (subframe connectors, traction bars, no-wobble steering, disc brakes)

horseball (maybe others) which small blocks do need sealant on lower head bolts? I saw 302 and the threaded hole did not protrude to cooling system, why would you then seal the threads?

not all small blocks have stretching bolts. e.g. older 302s have regular bolts (reusable in any hole). if you have strechning bolts do not reuse them.

pick any non-MLS felpro cheaper felpro 8240 (I guess) than 9333 is OK too, IMO even better for non-machined blocks/heads because it has milder steel rings (rest is identical)

Unless you drive interstate 130-150 mph IMO you won't feel a difference between well-tuned P/S and r&p. For front brakes, there are a few solutions that use OE parts (e.g. PBR calipers, cobra, granada)
