pull coil packs and check for moisture.... many miss problems solved here... all it takes isa tiny bit of moisture.. i saw coil pack or bad injector just maybe
Thanks for the idea... i just changed them last weekend when i washed the engine bay.... unfortunately it was doing this with the old (3 week old) plugs also.
When my car has not been ran for awhile (a few days). When i crank it and let it warm up the car misses. It will miss until I back it out and get about an 1/8 mile down the road. I suspect an injector leak and wanted everyones opinions.
Thanks
i just wish it was true free market capitalism haha...
Anyways same here.. but what gets me is that i live in a place called "gasoline alley" and before gas went on the rise it was always at least 20 cents lower and sometimes 30 cents than across the river in the city... hence gas alley...
maybe you just have a lottttt of blowby!! good luck, hope its nothing major but thats a weird problem... wash the engine, change plugs and see if it quits missing.. then with a clean engine you can tell where the oil is coming from
!!UPDATE!!
I was just out in the car and did two WOT pulls
1st pull 2nd Gear- Fuel pressue went to nearly 50 and stopped but car did not die
30 minutes later....
2nd Pull 2nd gear- fuel pressue stopped at 40... spiked to 60 for a blink of an eye then car died....
