I paid to have the plugs replaced today. They broke 3 following the TSB. I am glad to have that done and she is purring like a kitten now!

Changed the fuel filter, cleaned MAF and TB today. It ran much better than before afterward. I have plugs but may put them off since the cleaning seems to have fixed the majority of the issue.

Drove again today, nothing major. If I’m cruising along, speed doesn’t seem to matter and I give it medium throttle I feel a brief rumble behind me like the exhaust or trunk area. Then the power kicks in. Still no codes or pending codes on the OBD reader. I will attack the easy stuff then...

Oh, I thought it was something fancy like VW has...I got it ;)

My 05 was broken, and I wanted to stay stock. I did notice that the 2008 has chrome trim on the knobs, looks sharper than my all black plastic 05! :nice:

I was able to get it working. I needed a 40-CR20 adapter that I got from a local auto audio shop. After that, everything worked well.

I bought a 2008 Shaker 500 unit off the forums. I went to install it today, and I had two problems: 1) The antenna connector on the back of the radios is different. The 2005 has a hole on the back, and the antenna has a post that goes into the hole. The 2008 looks more like a female coax...

Thanks, I am excited to find a 2005 GT actually in my price range (or so I hope after negotiations). It might be to my advantage that it has higher miles, might scare some folks off.

A dealer has this car for sale locally. One owner, with maintenance records. The price is pretty attractive, and its a way for me to get into a GT. Should I be worried about this high mileage?
