Msd 6 AL
E-303 Cam
1.7 roller rockers
The car made 308 hp with a crappy (rich) tune on the dyno with 4.10 gears and a sticky...
That makes good sense. Let me try the cap first. If its not the cap it should be either the intake gaskets or the head gaskets I suspect? This problem is starting to tick me off.
I am not sure exactly what is wrong. The coolant is excessivly over pressured to the point where it doesnt stop overflowing out the radiator. Did I blow a headgasket?
Okay looking to rebuild my ignition system. My car is a 1985 Gt roller 306. I was thinking of :
MSD6 Al Box
MSD Blaster 2 Coil
FRPP Wires
Where I get confused is with the dizzy. Do I just get a factory vacccum advance or shoould I buy the MSD mechanical?
Alright im in the process of installing the flaming river manuel steering rack. And dont know what belt to get, its an 85 GT so its a reverse rotaion water pump? The only accesory is the alternator. Can I run a short belt? Can someone explain im confused.
Personally I say gears, subframe connectors, U/L Control arms, slicks and 100 shot of n20 = cheap 12 second car. Not to mention a full tune up before any of those things are put on.
Right now its a 306, AFR headed, 650dp holley, e-303 cammed. I plan on hitting the track soon. Once i get it running right. You have a link for any dizzys, thanks SSP.
I am located in ellicott city MD, anyone have a good shop that does gears? Yes the paint is 100% original with a very straight body. I will definitly post more pics.

As the title says I am curious how much lighter fox bodies really are than sn95's. Is a sn95 worth building as a budget drag car? Or is the Fox body the way to go.
Either car I build is going to have an aluminum headed 351w.

Yes, I am going the nitrous route instead of turbo because of the cost factor. Unless I am able to get my hands on a nice used single turbo setup.
