Ok I installed a new battery box in my trunk today and accidentally hooked up the battery backwards. It started smoking up near the starter relay and made a pop noise. I then hooked the battery up the correct way and it still starts but my alt light is on and its not charging. Any idea what I did??

I installed an 89 Crown Vic water pump on my car tonight because all I'm running is Crank, WP, and ALT. Now my issue is that the factory WP pulley wont go on. Do I need to get a set of under drives and which set?

What is the best standard rotation water pump to get. I'm only running crank, alt, and WP. I'm assuming that I need a standard rotation pump. I've heard something about getting one that went on an old Crown Vic. What year and will it fit perfectly? Thanks

I have a 90 lx notchback and I just recently deleted the a/c, smog pump and powersteering. My question is since I removed these things will I have to change out the waterpump because of the rotation?
