    Ok I took the pedal out of both cars. (I have one that is power) And I see how the power pedal is longer and hangs from a different spot. Still Not that big a deal to make a non power pedal into a power pedal. So I guess I go that route and get the regular power booster and mod the pedal.

    As both pedals sit in the same place and the upper mount is the same then its just the rod to pedal location that changes and yes Im pretty sure I can mod it to work. What drill a hole or weld a bolt?

    67 has manual brakes. Upgrading to power. Should I get the conversion booster and keep the manual pedal or mod the pedal to work with the regular power booster? And where should I get it from?

    Interesting. Yes a picture is needed. The reverse lights should be on the case activated by the linkage rod and there is no neutral switch.

    Pretty sure they used the T5 in 2000 cobras as I have one from one of those in my 67. I remember I ran the number back when I got it.

    Didnt ford use the T5 up till around 2000 in the cobras? Its still a pretty good trans. Yes I agree I have a toploader that has had the 2nd gear syncro going out for 20 years. No worse today than when I got it. Shifts fine unless I slam it in. One day it might need to be worked on but I doubt...

    Hes afraid 5.0 motor will break the T5 as if that was not what they were designed to run behind. Hmm did someone tell you that one day or where did you come to this conclusion?

    He has a coupe. yes its a bit of work but I have done a few and its really not that big a deal. Agreed on a fastback there is more work but its still only the uppers that need to come out

    $500 that is crazy. I ve done 2 coupe and 1 fastback myself. Well had a friend help with the glass. It take a couple of hours no biggie. Edgar where in LA are you. Ill come out and help you when you decide to do yours

    Yes that works if everything is good and its just hanging up on the clutch plate not being aligned. But in the matter of swapping things like a t5 into a 60's car there might be other issues. Just trying to cover the bases

    Id take the clutch and t/o bearing out then reinstall. Then try with the clutch and no t/o bearing. It will narrow down where the problem is.

    I agree, and they are heavier. But they will flow better that the 67 289 manifolds on there now and can always be swapped out with shorties without reworking the exhaust later.

    Got these today from the junkyard. 1965 retractors with boots and 70's style with internal locks. Now I need to get some pics of the shelby style harness so I can have the upholstery re-web these and make some. Anyone have pics?

    VIN numbers don't match..

    Does the door tag match the frame stamp? It souldnt be too big of a deal but they can be asses about it. Had the same problem with a 67 that had the door replace. Made me jump through hoops but in the end it was ok

    When running a 351 in a non 351 car. 65-68 do you just use headers and H-pipe for a 69?
