Is this the same for an AOD?

I replaced the 85 mph speedometer with a 140mph version for my 87 LX and now my speedometer reads a little high. We're talking +7 @ 60 mph. Is this a calibration issue with the new unit or something else? Stock tire size and AOD in use. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Has anyone on the West Coast ordered a hood from Cervini's? I am trying to find out how much the freight shipping ended up costing upon delivery. Thanks in advance

Good idea. Here is what I went through. When I first got my engine ready to start, I did not have transmission cooler lines at all. So I plugged them at the transmission, got the engine dialed in and topped off the tranny fluid. But when I went to move the car, every gear was like...

Update. Connected new transmission cooler lines, topped off tranny fluid and all is well.

+1 on the March pulleys. It was easy and they look nice with the electric H20 pump but it sure hurt the pocketbook.

Car has been recently resurrected from the dead. (4 years with no engine) In the mean time I have done the efi to carb conversion and dropped the tank to remove the electric fuel pump. Is there a trick to troubleshooting this circuit? There doesn't seem to be much to it.

Problem corrected. During my work, the small wire on the starter separated from the connector. HISSIN50 thanks for the feedback, it helped me quickly isolate this.

produces same click with jump

Shorting large posts on starter relay produces same click. Battery shows 12 VDC on voltmeter and starter is new.

I disconnected my battery for 2 weeks while working on car. REconnected and now all I get is a single click from starter relay area when trying to start. Any ideas of things to check out? Thanks in advance.

What size fittings are required to run braided transmission lines? Are they 1/4 NPT or something special?

Thanks for the feedback. It is definitely movingt the linkage when it is shifted, its just that nothing happens. I'm just gonna hold off until my transmission lines come in and see what happens after that. I really don't want to drop the pan again to check it out.

I did not fill the converter up all the way. I put in approx. 3 quarts. After I got the engine started, I checked tranny fluid and topped it off. Does the AOD need fluid circulation to work? Could I have knocked something loose just by dropping the pan, changing the filter and fluid?
