I haven't personally seen a VIS up close but suspect it is mainly made of fiberglass with one or two layers of cf. Seibon's cf finish leaves much to be desired... comes dull and full of orange peel in the clear coat. Maybe that was just a batch they had with a bad finish, don't know...

95% of carbon fiber parts are made in China... VIS, Seibon, Extreme Dimensions, Carbon Creations.... they are all made in China. They don't want you to know this so they just don't advertise it. An american made product won't be afraid to show you pictures of the inside of their composites...

I will try to update this in the next few days. We've basically been busy epoxy coating parts and sanding them. Trying to get everything ready for the painter to clear coat. We have had multiple jobs going on simultaneously.
