    Interesting....I did not know that either. The 6 cyl converter starter ring is spot welded in place. I guess just grind those spots off. Would you happen to know what the stall is on that? thanks for the help.....

    Help!!!!!

    Bad timing will back fire back through the carb. Too much fuel or weak ignition will back fire through the exhaust.

    I would think that finding a GT gear box would be as hard as finding "chicken teeth"...... What years would fit without any mods to my existing column or linkage? There is a tag on top of mine that partly reads "AT". Oh, here's a pic of my newly acquired piece......
