    Black Smoke

    Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. I have a 98 3.8L and have black smoke coming out of the drivers side exhaust pipe. The pipe is all covered in black. Don't know what the problem could be.

    Hi. I have a 1998 3.8 mustang. Car suddenly stopped, and found out that no electricity is going to the fuel pump. I ran a wire to the fuel pump and the starts it.
