    It wont get up and go. HELP?????

    I would say check compression.. I had a 92' it wasnt a mustang but it wouldnt take off, gaurentee it didnt have many hp but my friend who is a machanic checked it out and it was due to a loss of compression in one of my cyl. hope that helps

    Oh and what exact rpms do you shift at for what gear, normally? I know you said it varies but like I said i get 100 miles on half a tank but when I calculated my gas mileage I only get 15mpg :(

    Hey I just bought an 01' 3.8 5-speed mustang :nice: I was just wondering what rpms to shift at for best gas mileage; because I calculated my gas mileage and I am getting 15.3 :( mpg and thats half highway!! :shrug::scratch: The car has 55k miles and the only mod done so far is a cold air...
