NOS 05115, will my injectors keep up?

Thank's. Traction was an issue as well.

NOS 05115, will my injectors keep up?

12.80's @ 111 MPH with a 100 shot. The local track is at 2800 feet of elevation and the temps were in the low 90's.

NOS 05115, will my injectors keep up?

Got it all done yesterday and took it to the track last night. Ran flawless all night long. :nice:

NOS 05115, will my injectors keep up?

The NOS 05115 kit is a dry system. I have since decided to not take the chance and just go with a wet system. I'm about 75% percent done with the install at this point. FWIW, I have a 255lph Walbro in the tank and the MAF is tuned for the 24's.:flag:

NOS 05115, will my injectors keep up?

I'm currently running a TFS top end kit(Street Heat heads, intake, stage 1 cam) on my stock bottom end with 24lb injectors. What's everyone's opinion on how high I can safely take the jetting before I run out of injector?

AOD vs T5 drag race results

I'm sure a properly built AOD could get close to the T5's runs. They'd probably only be a couple of tenths off since the AOD pulls more RWHP out of the engine than the manual trans does.

    ls1 in a fox

There's nothing magical about the LS1's. Any 350 cubic engine with similar breathing heads will make similar power. For the amount of money you're gonna have to invest to get it up and running, you could make similar power with a Ford powerplant. And then the car will actually retain some...

Best wet traction tires for Fox?

I've been running the Kumho ASX's for the last couple of years, and I'm pretty happy with both their wet and dry traction. Excellent tire for the $.

    Steering wander after lowering springs??

Increasing the tire pressure seems to help on my lowered Mustang. I crank the front's up to the max. I have MM's caster/camber plates waiting to go on. I'm just waiting for the weather to cooperate. Anytime you alter a vehicles ride height, you change it's caster setting. I recently added longer...

    Steering wander after lowering springs??

What you're experiencing is called Tram-Lining. Some caster/camber plates with more caster dialed in will fix it.

Since we're talking about dyno's, here's an email I sent to Dynojet: Does atmospheric conditions and elevation effect horsepower readings? For instance, say you dyno a car when the temperature is hot(say 100 degree's) and then dyno it again later in that same day when the temp is 60...

For exhaust, I have BBK 1 5/8" unequal ceramic coated shorties going into a 2 1/2" BBK high flow catted H going into a 2 1/2" Flowmaster Delta Flow aftercat. I can't see longtubes and no cats making much of a difference over that. Certainly not 20+ RWHP. For intake, I have the stock airbox...

39psi fuel pressure. New fuel filter. 255lph Walbro pump. 18 degree's initial timing(stock distributor and A9T ECU). Fel-Pro 9333 head gaskets. Cat's have about 3K miles on them. 14:1 AFR was measured after the cats at the tail pipes. Cam was set straight up, dot to dot.

So you gained roughly 40 RWHP and 50 RWTQ from just those mods? I'm guessing the bigger MAF and longtubes were only worth about 15 of that. Leaving the other 25 RWHP gain from the tune. Pretty impressive. I'd love to get rid of the shorties and cat's, but mine is daily driven and has to...

Seeing those numbers make me wanna cry.:( Any idea if elevation plays a factor on dyno numbers? What was the elevation where you had your's dynoed? Mine was at 2800 feet. Doesn't the dyno's correction factor make up for air density(elevation) and temperature?

I haven't run it at the track yet. They close for the winter here. Which is stupid, since it rarely rains or snows here. It's just cold.:notnice:

18 degree's initial is too low? Valves were adjusted to 1/2 turn past zero lash. They were adjusted on the engine stand before I put the motor in. I also installed new FMS lifters at the same time.
