    Nasty noise under load (ENGINE)

    my car did the same thing right went i bougt it it was at like 18btdc so i set it at 10 btdc and ran all the fuel out then top it off with 93 and started adv the timing intill i had det then that put me at 13.5 btdc it does make i differents going from 10 to 13.5 with good fuel. :nice:

    yeah i thought about the intake but the car is my daily and teh tranny shifts at 5500 so the motor will never see 6000-6500rpm. and i dont plan on racing her. been there done that broke that. im just lookin to build a very mild street car. thanks for the info. :nice:
