    Wideband Question?

The AEM Wideband UEGO Controller Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge looks interesting particularly from the cost standpoint. Is there any reason why I should stay away from this Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge?

    Wide Band O2s

For the guys that are utilizing a 3rd bung for their wideband O2 sensor are there any concerns about only being able to monitor one side of the engine?

Photochop I did. (next Cobra/Boss daydreaming)

I think that you should retain the fog light openings in the front bumper cover to be used as brake cooling ducts.

Vacuum controlled systems with boost, what to do?

I'm don't understand something here. Doesn't the vacuum pressure originate in the upper intake manifold? How does a person select a vacuum source before the blower?

302 non HO block....Will it work?

HO & Non HO blocks are interchangeable, and Cranks are both the same (casting number: 2MAE). Cam (and computer on SEFI applications) determine the firing order. HO block casting numbers post 86':E6SE-BA, E5AE-C3B, E7TE-CA, E7TE-EA Non-HO block casting numbers post 86':E6SE-AA, E5TE-CA...

    Idle problems with blower

I've been doing a little looking into the bypass valve, and it seems like the way to go. Did you fellas assemble your own bypass set-ups, or did buy pre-packaged kits like this?

    Idle problems with blower

Do you mean the IAC bypass adjuster(Idle air control adjuster) or a blower bypass valve (BOV)?

    Idle problems with blower

I'll give the bypass plate a try as well. My idling issues only occured post blower installation.

    Idle problems with blower

Did this problem stay fixed? I'm having similar but not quite as bad idling issues as the ones that you described. Cleaning the IAC didn't seem to do much. I starting to think that my cam (TFS STG 1) may be ill-suited to blower use since it has a lopey idle, which causes vacuum fluctuation...

    Illinois Emissions

I recommend in addition the previously mentioned items that you go on a warm or better yet hot day if possible. Run your stock ~190 degree thermostat. Make sure your cars warmed up prior to the test. They have a much more sophisticated test now with a dyno. I've live din Illionois all of my...

Vortech users!! Belt routing inside and need size

Thanks, My year (93') calls out for a 90.5" belt so I got a 91" from Autozone, and it fit. I have another question. How do you see the timing marks on the block and harmonic damper with all the supercharger bracketry installed?

Vortech users!! Belt routing inside and need size

Did you ever determine the belt length? I have the same set-up (3g alt.), and I found that the stock belt was too short with the vortech kit installed.

If the Shelby Cobra comes out, will it hold back the performance of the SVT Cobra

Why wouldn't they continue to call it the SVT Cobra Mustang? The Shelby Mustangs were called GT 350 and GT 500 in the past. I don't think that they'll make a Shelby Mustang with Saleen, Roush and others out there already. I think we'll see a production version of that Shelby Cobra roadster...

If the Shelby Cobra comes out, will it hold back the performance of the SVT Cobra

I don't see that the new Shelby Cobra roadster will hurt SVT Cobra Mustang development. The Shelby Cobra roadster is going in a different direction than the Ford GT(40) and the SVT Cobra in that it purportedly will have the an N/A V10. Regardless if the Shelby Cobra roadster is produced I think...

DO you ice your intake after runing at the track??????

I don't think anyone is suggesting that an intake manifold can be as efficient as an intercooler, only that a cool intake manifold is better than a hot intake manifold.

DO you ice your intake after runing at the track??????

I no longer have my stock intake manifolds, but isn't there a single water passage in the very center of the intake between the upper and the lower? I could be wrong. My point in mentioning the EGR spacer was only to ask the question that, doesn't that device serve to moderate the temp. of...

DO you ice your intake after runing at the track??????

A 5.0 efi intake does have coolant circulated through the upper/lower intake and the egr spacer. I think that it has been fairly well established by posters here as well as various performance publications that icing the intake has an effect. The question seems to be, what is the actual...
