    T-45 Vs Tr-3650 Transmission

I agree with squeak93 the TR-3650 has more aftermarket support over the T-45. I would recommend keeping both and using the T-45 as a backup and then having the 3650 gone through and upgraded, Tony at Astro Performance https://www.astroperformance.com/ has a nice setup for those transmissions. We...

SFI approved bellhousing for 3650 trans

Good Luck. Because the 3650 has a intergraded Bellhousing it would be very expensive to develop a housing to take the place of the OEM unit. Most people that race their stangs and have a legitimate use for a scatter shield either go to a built T-5 or a TKO 500 or 600. At that point there are...

    Clutch Breakin period/theory???

Your thinking is pretty much right on. Those guys are running sintered iron discs that get grabbier as they heat up. The more heat you put in them the better they work and are essentially throw away after 1-2 races.

    clutch suggestions

    1. There are always potential for chatter on a dual friction style disc, due to several variables like power, weight, size of tire, rear gearing and the ability for the driver to under power the clutch. The more throttle you give the car the better the engagement should be. 2. Our pressure plate...
