Replaced the bad wire, fired it up and all was good again. After rejoicing I replaced the remaining wires.

Visually the wire looks excellent. No cracks at all in the wire cover and the rubber ends still seem very nice and durable. Obviously in this case looks can be deceiving. Picked up the new set today and will install tonight. Will report the outcome.

From the day I ordered to the day received was 6 days. Great quality work. Had to make the holes on the factory hinge a bit wider for adjustment and raise the latch to close the hood. Overall very satisfied with my new hood.

After days of debate I went with the HO Fibertrends 2.5. Its 2.5 above the stock cowl which puts it at a total of 3.5. Without having the hoods near by to get a better close up look it was a tough decision. Pics to follow soon. Thanks for the pics Nightfire.
