Expired 1988 Mustang Lx 5.0 Vert For Sale In Nj. Stock! $5500 Obo

Hey, looking to sell my '88 stang. Like the title says, this thing hasn't been played with besides a set of Flowmaster 10 series and the usual maintenance. Very nice shape, 123k Miles, never beaten on, and has spent a good part of its life in a garage. Here's the craigslist link for it. Thanks...

Ac Cluster Lights not working. Well, half of isn't.

Like the title says. The floor/vent/mix knob and hot/cold knob have light, but the high/low knob doesn't. Fuses are good. Every other light in the car works. Are there two bulbs back there? I can't seem to find anyone online that would sell em. Don't feel like pulling **** off if I don't have too.

    Timing marks 45 degrees off?

Figured. It's my daily driver and the balancer isn't wobbling very bad. Slight wobble to it. Ah well, I'm just going to let it be for now until I get the $$ for a new one and underdrive pulleys.

    Timing marks 45 degrees off?

There is just one set, and yes, I took the spout out before I set it.

    Timing marks 45 degrees off?

Hey fellas, went to advance my timing and for some reason, couldn't find the marks. I used a ton of white out thinking that I didn't mark it good enough. I just realized that the marks are on the exact opposite side of where they should be. Basically they're on the drivers side, on the right...

Clicking coming from top of engine

Eh, think any damage could occur running it normally if it is the lifters/rockers? They're going to be replaced anyway when I do the 331 and H/C/I. But until I get the $$....yeah :ack:

Clicking coming from top of engine

Alright so, I parked my stang in the driveway and it decided to get away from me. It slowly crept down the driveway. Guess that's what I get for putting it in first without the e-brake on. Anyway, after this happened, I started it up and heard a clicking. It was pretty loud at first, but it...

    Difficulty Shifting into 1st (sometimes)

Thanks for the responses Jrich and Nik. It's a stock cable/quadrant, and there's really no give to it. Engages where it should, don't think it's that, although I am now thinking about replacing that stuff just to be safe. Nik, I think you're right. It's quirky, that's the word. I've...

    Difficulty Shifting into 1st (sometimes)

God, that was such a newbie question. The clutch doesn't engage high, engages right where it should. Dunno why it doesn't like first though. :- /

    Difficulty Shifting into 1st (sometimes)

I believe it's stock. And yes, 99% of the time, I can move the shifter freely. Except to reverse, t-5s hate reverse. I'm starting to think that it has an aftermarket clutch. The pedal isn't necessarily stiff, but it takes a little bit of force to push in. Might be a light aftermarket clutch...

    Difficulty Shifting into 1st (sometimes)

Like the title says, when I'm in neutral at say a stop light or something, I'll have trouble getting into 1st. It's not real difficult, takes some coercing, but it goes in. It feels like there is something blocking it from going in. I usually just try to get it in a couple times, and after say...

No idea what this cable is for. What is it?

Not to my knowledge. But who knows, probably will check into that. Would be pretty cool. :-)

No idea what this cable is for. What is it?

Yeah, my neighbor said the same thing. I'm 20, so I'd guess that's before my time. What is it? Like a walkie talkie type of thing? Hah, guess I got myself all upset thinking it was another thing that needed to be replaced.... :-)

No idea what this cable is for. What is it?

Found this cable disconnected by the pedals. After some searching, it lead me to the trunk. What the heck is it? Says type rg-5870.

Convertible Top Question. It leaks, Halp!

Oh yeah, I know. I took the whole clamp and dowel out and closed it without it. Same problem. :-(

Convertible Top Question. It leaks, Halp!

Weatherstripping is fine. It just doesn't close tight enough for the the weatherstripping to seal right. Jhooks don't do anything. Just rips up the receptacle. Basically, the windshield is in the way. Need to get it over the "hump" Probably just going to take it to a shop if I can't adjust...
