TripleBlk: I actually changed that hose a while ago. I replaced it with nice stout heater-grade hose. But thanks...that would definitely have caused a problem if it had come undone!

trinity_gt: I checked and double-checked the fuel rail vacuum line, so I know it's not that. As for the fuel pressure sensor, I will check that next. Someone has also suggested cleaning the MAF sensor, which I have never done, I'm ashamed to say.

shaunspengler: I checked all of the vacuum lines you mentioned. Everything is hooked up correctly, nice and tight. I'm starting to suspect that I have a bad spark plug wire for the #4 cylinder (that's the one that's misfiring). I will also check my PCV valves.

Yep. It's your idle air control (IAC) valve. It's mounted on the front of your throttle body. What you are SUPPOSED to do is replace it...but you don't have to. Just take it off, spray it thoroughly with carburetor cleaner. Shake off the excess and let it dry, then put it back on your car...

bdcardinal: I wonder if I should go ahead and get another replacement intake manifold, take out the O-rings on it, and use the flat gasket set, with plenty of Permatex. I just don't know if the O-rings by themselves are sealant enough.

Thanks, trinity! But I can't say she is actually running like she should, just yet! Now that I have that problem out of the way, I am trying to deal with some pretty severe coolant leaks around my intake manifold. (See my other post!)
