    Engine Crankshafts

I know, it just aggravates me how quality parts are so much more expensive. That and I wish Ford had stuck with the 351. As they say, there is no replacement for displacement. Do you have any details on that 5.3?

Not to mention the cost of all the supporting modifications to handle it all.

    Engine Crankshafts

Mostly finances. I could build a SBC with about 600 hp for around $4000. I'm well over that with my 3V and to reach my goal would require about another $7500.

    Engine Crankshafts

Never mind, I did some more research and these expectations are wildly unrealistic. I miss small block Chevys!

    Engine Crankshafts

I've been rolling around the idea of possibly stroking my '06 GT, and if not, at least strengthening my rotating assembly. I'm sitting on around 425 hp NA and would like to eventually supercharge or spray it as well as increase engine speed to around 7500 RPM. Either choice would include H -...

    Electrical Service Engine Light Feedback...

The anti-theft uses a specifically coded key, so the dealership should have made keys using the appropriate codes. What intake is on the car? Some require a tune, others do not. You can use either 87 or 93 octane fuel and it won't affect the anything, except 93 octane will give you a somewhat...

    2006 Gt Engine Swap

Oddly enough, a bad alternator can sometimes trigger a cam sensor bank 2 code. I'd pull it and have it tested.

    Suspension Watts Link Question(s)

I can't really give you a yes or no answer, because every car is going to be different, but most Watts link kits do allow vertical adjustment of the center pivot.

    Suspension Watts Link Question(s)

Adjusting the length of the links is also how you properly center the axle under the car.

    Suspension Watts Link Question(s)

Ah, I see your point now. The problem can be solved by adjusting the length by using adjustable links. Adjusting the length of the links would allow you to set the pivot in a neutral position while the suspension is under ordinary load. Once this baseline is established, there is plenty of...

    Suspension Watts Link Question(s)

There is one pivot point, which is centrally located on the axle, that has one arm rising upwards and one arm dropping down. These arms attach to a link which bolts to the rear frame: one above the horizontal centerline of the axle and one below it. It does not allow the axle to shift laterally...

    Suspension Watts Link Question(s)

+1 to the torque arm. Find an adjustable proportioning valve so you can get extra oomph out of your rear brakes.

    To Shake-her Or Not....

Be warned, some cars have had issues with the Cervini kit wreaking havoc on the MAF sensor. The air flow can be too turbulent, resulting in improper readings. Certainly not all, but I have encountered some people who had to block the air passage.

    No Air Or Heat Blowing.

The first thing would be to check for a relay in the fuse box and ensure it operates.

    Engine Rough Cold Start

That makes sense. It seemed like an O2 sensor problem except it hasn't tripped any codes. I'll give Brenspeed a call after the holidays. Come to think of it, it did start back in March when I installed the newest tune with the manifold and throttle body.

    Engine Rough Cold Start

It's only about 8 months old, but I'll pull it and check. I put Champions in during August 2013, but I'll check the gap.

    Engine Rough Cold Start

I have an '06 GT with Kooks headers, catted x-pipe, Detroit Rocker cams, FRPP intake and throttle bottle, C&L Racer intake, Brenspeed 93 octane tune, and Performance Automatic 2800 RPM torque converter. For about the last 8 months I've had an issue where, when starting the car in cold or wet...

    Exhaust Exhaust Wrapping

I've spent an awful lot of my supercharger money on not-my-supercharger...I'd need some specific feedback on temperature reduction before I threw down those bones.

    To Shake-her Or Not....

No, the Shaker has a tray that collects water and routes it to the ground via four rubber tubes.
