Well I replaced the cable and put in a new 19tooth gear to replace the old 16tooth gear and everything seems to be working. Only issue now is that instead of the needle being 10-12-mph too fast at highway speed it's about 5mph too slow so I think I'll have to put in a 18 tooth gear to correct...

This is a pic of my 1993 Cobra from last year after I replaced the headlights. It's in dire need of a paint job and some front end work. Will hopefully be able to drive it again this weekend once the instrument cluster I ordered off eBay gets here.

I don't know if it's the stock clutch, I believe it's original, the cable is. I feel like the clutch might be starting to slip and I'm waiting for it to go. The rear motor seal is leaking and I've got a few other things I want to upgrade/fix when it goes and I pull the tranny out.
