Your thoughts on DSS. short blocks

both still use a stock block, no matter how much prep they do to it, it is still a stock block. get a good rotating assembly, bring your block to a good machine shop and have them bore your block and assemble the kit for you, you should save some $$$.

    Short Blocks Chp Or Dss??????

the only thing with those blocks are that they are still stock blocks. you are probably better off purchasing a rotating assembly, and using your own block. just pay someone to bore and hone your block, and assemble the kit for you.

6000 is high, what kind of tires? I launch between 4500-5000rpm. You might bog trying to launch at 6000. Hold it at your desired rpm, and as soon as it is green, punch it. I am thinking 4500 is your best bet.
