    just takes money...lol...i'm a fan of the turbo route also, but its not cheap even if you get a kit like the on3. Lots of other things have to be swapped to make it work....k-member, etc...but for the hp....could be worth it.

    so i learned from a guy doing a gear swap for me in the past that the additive that ford recommends was added to make the gear oil "slicker".     Rear caliper rebuild

    i was messing with with some pistons like that last year trying to get the boots on. I used a little bit of vaseline to get them to slide instead of gripping. Did you google it or youtube it to see if anyone has some trick? IIRC mine finally just went in and stayed by luck.

    My 87 GT Speed Density Auto, all stock gets around 20mpg daily...highway...65-80 mph. must have 273 rear...at 75 mph i'm at about 2700 rpm's...

    Are you 2.3 owners still here?

    i can't believe more guys aren't going the 2.3 turbo route....lots of 4 cyl. lx's around to be turbo'd. yeah its some work...but lots of turbo stuff out there now and still cheaper than a full 5.0 work over....

    Notch Trunk lift springs/rods

    Can someone post some pics of the rods/springs that lift the trunk in a stock Notch, please? I can't figure out how they are supposed to go in and its a pain in the ass having to hold the trunk lid open to get in the trunk...... I think if i could see pics of the rods in the slots on either...

    I was really wanting some wider 10 holes too... i found a company that will widen them, but the most i could imagine working was an inch and then its a bitch to find tires in 15" now...I really wish that mavromont would get those 10 holes out damn it...

    that's where its at on the 93. I was having problems with mine kicking off when i used the AC....same box....i have to pound on it once in while...
