i used fox body headers on my car so there was no egr bung to conect the tube to. had to get welded in from the stock headers and we made a tube from copper tubing to go over from the egr then down to the egr bung on the headers. had flare out each end and that was a pain but it works perfectly...

thats why you dont use a ton of teflon tape and only put it on the top 1/2 of the part that screws in. my uncle has been using teflon for all of his connections since way back in the day. never had any problems. ill always use it but some peopel might stop

yup, i got away with spending about $12 from home depot makin mine. some people paint theirs and make them look great and they are definately cheaper than those $150 ones. but the metal ones do look nice tho
