    Should i get this welder?!?!?!

here you go.. They have a sale on there hobart welders. I purchaced the hh140 last summer. As long as you feed it good power (key with any welder 120 or 220) it will do just about anything you need to do. The biggest difference between a 120 and 220 is the duty cycle, the 220 might be able to...

Does a junk yard DIY rack and pinion exist?

Well here is the situation, 68 coupe that needs to be power steering. I don’t like the stock ram setup so looks like a rack and pinion for me. Has anyone swapped one from another vehicle and made it work? A DIY of sorts. It looks like the cheapest kit is 1500$. If something cant be done cheaper...

Can't wait any longer. Gotta spill the beans

10sec... I dont think you will have alot of problems as far as the sides will be concerned however the problem you'll have is hood clearance. A couple of people droped a lightning motor in a 99+ GT and they ended up needing a 6" cowl hood. the lightning motor is tall. you could get away with a...

    Cowl vents removal....

I was about to order up my cowl patch panels and a thought crossed my mind. Do I really need the vents in there? I'm going with a aftermarket a/c unit, which from what i understand dosent use the factory vent hole but not sure. just to clarify I'm talking about the 2 5in holes in the bottom of...

    4.6 engine w/ 5 speed in a '70

my70stang... You do not need to put a mustang II in yor car... One thing that sticks out in my head besides fabing motor mounts and custom driveshaft, is to convert to cable clutch. were you thinking 4v or 2v?? If its a newer motor (99+) then you will have to convert to a return style fuel...

    HEI distributor

I totally agree with you Dave... In my case i have a late model 5.0 that going in my stang w/ EFI controlled by a MegaSquirt computer. I plan on only using the distributor for only a little bit. The plan is to get the fuel map down then swap in a TFI distributor and do up the ignition. I...

Anyone use this EFI Conversion Harness?

To me it looks like a stock used harness with a couple small modifications. My friend just did a 5.0 ho swap into a 67 and used the stock harness with no modifications to the harness it self.

What EFI harness did you use?

You can use a late model harness. I have a a harness and computer that orignally came out of a 89 GT that had been running a 5.0 in a 67 stang that I'm thinking about getting rid of. Im planning to megasquirt my car. Sorry not trying to turn this in to a classified. But anyways you will be just...

    Who's Running Tri-Y's

Quoted directly from Mustang Steve's web site, Hopefully he won't mind. Although this kit fits the T-5 and Tremec factory cable type bellhousing, SOME HEADERS MAY INTERFERE WITH THE CABLE AT THE BELLHOUSING / CABLE AREA. Tri-Y headers are especially problematic, but can be modified by...

    Damp weather charging problems

If you disconnected the electrical choke then dosent it stay closed? I'm pretty sure that it requires 12 volts to heat the bi-metal spring and open the choke. I would ensure that your choke plate is open. Graham

not a mustang- but interesting stuff...

Sweet, The best thing a struggling company can do... celebrate a good selling product by blowing a ton of money on something that has no purpose. I wish the people that were responsible for blowing money on making this truck would talk to the 30,000 people that Ford is about to layoff and ask...

    Brake light

It’s possibly stuck but not probably. Some can be hard to recenter. Which one aren’t working, front or back? Let’s say its the back ones that had the leak. The proportioning block has slid over and stopped fluid going to the back. How to correct this is to... 1. Fix the leak in the back...
