just put mine back in a couple days ago. i put the clip in before i put the cable in. then just shoved the cable in past the clip. it expands over the stop on the cable.

probably just a worn out od band, they get to where they will not grab anymore, 20 dollar part. if you are not afraid of opening your trans it's not bad. AOD-C4 swap the link is for a aod to c4 swap

did you try re-tightening all the bolts in the rear suspension? could just be that a bolt is loose. and take it easy on the squirrels:)

i just got done installing a mini starter in my 91 and had everything hooked up . when i put the negitve ground cable on the battery the starter made a clicking sound. just one click. it didn't try to start the car.i just made a click. i was wondering if this was normal?
