    Rear suspension question

By adding the panhard bar it will be a bit redundant if you want to keep UCAs (IE no TQ arm). If you have no intention of getting the MM 3 link, just upgrade the control arms. If you eventually want the TQ arm, don't waste money on UCAs that will hit the parts pile when it happens.

Need advice on purchasing 65 GT Fastback

Thanks for the info. Nada shows low retail at 7300. the car is probably just below low retail according to their description. I'll check out that link. I'm in NM, the car is in AZ.

Need advice on purchasing 65 GT Fastback

I bought this car in '96 and sold it to a friend within a year when I left for the Navy. Now I get a call saying he wants to sell it and would like me to have it. Here is the scoop. 1965 GT Fastback bought for $3600, he says he has receipts for about 12k in the car. However, he basically...

    EFI Solutions or Custom Chip?

I showed how Tim "optimized" my parts combination to make good power. It is obvious your ego wil never let you stop, so I will withdraw.

    EFI Solutions or Custom Chip?

You are still trying to sensationalize peoples comments to make them seem more absurd (IE "god of tuning"). Here is your reasonable response: Here is where you muddy the post: That is you stirring up ****. Incidentally, how does he make good power if he isn't a great tuner? I...

    EFI Solutions or Custom Chip?

Please direct me to a post where someone says Tim is the "god of tuning, or "the best tuner in the industry". I'm happy with my tune from T&J using EFI solutions. I made 400/389 with just his intercooled mongoose kit and a catted x pipe. I feel sorry for the thread starter, its too bad...

    People with Dumps in here

TTT Honestly it wasn't much louder outside the car, but it was pretty loud in the car with the rear seat out and the Magnapacks basically right below it. I would have thought turn downs would redirect the sound down away from the cab. Anyone else?

    People with Dumps in here

After I finished installing my MM panhard bar and torque arm I drove around with the tailpipes taken off. I thought it was too loud and not as smooth, so i had someone try to get the Magnaflow pipes to fit. Well the rattle on both sides and it is driving me crazy. My question is, if I...

    Advice Needed for TIRES

Try the Falken Azeni Sports in 245, they have a super stiff sidewall and almost look like 255s. The tread is pretty sticky and there cheap. 98 a tire at savastire.com. I use them for open track and daily driving. EDIT: Just saw your running wider than stock rims. I would go with the nitto...

Cobrakiller mongoose kit/ 400hp with cats

thanks man, I can't believe how much power it made with such a conservative tune. I'm loving NM, pretty good racing scene considering Albuquerque is not a "big" city. we are having a heads up racing competition at the strip and an open track day at the road course next month. Life is good...

Cobrakiller mongoose kit/ 400hp with cats

It really helps get the power to the ground, before the charger it wouldn't even break loose powering out of corners. :) Congrats on the kit, you won't be dissappointed. The hardware is good for growth, this charger setup is pretty much what micool made 620hp on. Just need the VT stroker...

More new Cobra Killer Dyno Numbers

I don't understand why you arre still using an 80mm MAF  I assume the ProM can handle more airflow? I figured at your power you'd be loooking at a 90. How much more power is the ProM 80 good for over the Steeda 80? Hope I'm not swaying the thread, but I think its important for...
