That can add up to porky little car quite quickly. Good...
Well this says it'll work, and it'll hook up parking brake.

I really can't go farthur than that, never used it... hell I haven't seen my car in 3 years, I just happened to run across it last week...
EDM = Electric Discharge Machine. Think of it as reverse welding. Instead of the arc adding material in welding, the "arc" of EDM removes tiny pieces of material. EDM requires submerging the piece being work on under an electrolyte solution. Hence, it ain't going happen with an engine...
I only found one person complain that bad, probably just a whiner.
I would expect them to be a bit harsher but I wouldn't care. Considering your changing from 30 year old worn parts to new, I hope there is a difference.
As for the expense. Lots of people would consider this extravigant...
I spend time on SyTy forums (I know not a Ford but :hail2: )
Some of those guys use Flex-A-Forms too. Seems they react faster then steel leafs and control wheel hop for a better 60ft. But they are expensive. Some people do complain about a rough ride though. Any comments on the ride quality...
Wart, I got a question for ya.
Why aren't you out building a custom car instead of the II? Other then love of the IIs, you seem like you would like the total build. I buddy of mine wants to build a Locost Type 7 replica. And we're not talking ordering parts and assembling it or buying one...
If I'm remembering correctly, the first choice of wheels my dad picked out for my mom's PT would have taken like 6 months to come in because they need enough orders to make a shipment to come over from yonder across the sea. And this was from American Racing sometime in late 2000.
Plus China...
So, there was talk a while ago about trying to find a decent hatch and how hard it was getting.. just like everything else for our cars. I managed to locate one, but this time I'd like it not to rust in under 5 years when it was in great condition when I painted it.
Me and the guy I bought the...
Holy Crap, there's people from Medicine Hat on this forum? Guess I'll put my arm up as #3... well until I move to Calgary in a couple of weeks for school.
Gotta start working on the traction issues.
Convert to 5-lug (Maverick rear and swap in the posi and gears, and Heidt's 11" out front)
15" rims and rubber (leaning towards the Magnum 500s too. Wheel Vintiques makes them and can do custom backspacing so I just contacted them and waiting for...
Typical RestoMod.
Looks stock on the outside, right down to the 13" wheels.
And unless you have X-ray vision you can't see the camshaft, rockers, ported heads, different gears, posi, and the rest of that jazz.
Did Ford ever put an aluminum head on any of its small-blocks from factory?
I have a buddy who wants to save some weight and is looking for a cheaper way to get aluminum heads. Performance isn't the big issue, but it would be an added bonus.
I've heard of GT40P/X/Y but I've never done any...
If I were you I would between Telus and Bell Mobility.
Telus has the towers and coverage, and Bell has a contract with Telus to use the same towers. Plus Bell has more coverage in BC and Ontario.
Other then that it comes down to what type of plan you are looking for.
I've never been a fan of...
Second that. I just saw an old Beetle that was white with an extremely light pink pearl in it, an it looked amazing. I can't wait to see a II with the same idea (but without the sissy pink)
I forgot to mention that I have been playing with the slider on the linkage bar; and, I've been adjusting the actual shifter in the car to try and make something work.
No matter what I do, the shifter throw pattern seems to be at least 1/2" shorter then the original.
Even on the metal shift...
