I don't have mine mounted yet, so I cannot tell you how it worked out, but..
I went with 275/40/17 for the rear and 235/45/17 on the front.
-8x17 for the front w/ 4.75 bs and 9.5x17 with 5.5 bs for rear.
Here is a good site to compare the sizes...
A while back I saw a post about someone modifing their engine mounts to lower the engine. I think they were trying to fit a TKO into the tunnel without cutting it up. I don't really remember........
Does anyone have any info about this post or have anyone sucessfully done this?
Thank you.
There is totally a back seat in the fastback. Yes the seat isn't the largestl, but the front seats can fold forward and when you are dating someone in gymnastics....(use imagination here) anything is possible. ;)
:nice:
Do you like apples?
I wish I would have bought my fastback when I was in high school when I actually had time to work on cars. The back seat could have come in handy too. ;)
I 2nd that.
Reminds my of my younger brother the other day. He will have his license in 2 weeks. I am selling him my 82 chev 1/2 ton/350 ci and he wants to cut the exhaust, turn the upper pipes and weld on glasspack. So about a foot of pipe and then glasspacks..thats it. Now that thing...
I agree. I have a hobart 175 and couldn't be happier. If you don't have a 220v outlet, adding it to the garage from the panel is pretty easy stuff. The 220v welders give you a longer duty cycle also.

can you scan it in or make a PDF?
That looks great. Now how can we get a template of the angle you made on the control arm? (the cut you made)
How much are you dropping these? 1 or 1 3/4 inch?
Thanks,
Josh

I found my TKO-600 early on for $1580. Good luck.
Also adjusting your modulator valve for later shift (high R's) will help with the "kick" feeling. Also if you have stepper gears and less stall will help also. Too much stall will absorb some of the shock.
"i love being a girl. Lmao. yeah this week i got pulled over for an illegal turn and i didnt have an insurance. Oops. i guess i will learn my lesson someday."
