    as far as grinding, the only grinding i get is into reverse. i just figured the reverse syncro went out. sometimes it's fine into reverse. in fact most of the time it's fine into reverse, but sometimes it grinds pretty bad. so this plastic bushing you speak of. is this what you're talking...
